Education, health, livelihoods, women's rights, and the environment โ because in a community, nothing works in isolation.

By 2032, we aim to have reached every number below โ not as targets, but as real people.
What We Do
Every community faces overlapping challenges. We respond with programmes that address root causes โ not symptoms.
Promoting quality, inclusive education โ from foundational literacy to digital learning and school dropout reduction. Our programmes reach children and families who need it most.
Health camps, nutrition awareness, maternal & child health, TB awareness, mental health support โ bringing basic healthcare closer to the last mile.
Tree plantation drives, waste management awareness, water conservation, and community-led ecological restoration โ because a healthy environment is a prerequisite for everything else.
Skill training, SHG formation, legal literacy, safety awareness, and leadership building โ because sustainable change happens when women lead it.
Livelihood training, sustainable agriculture, farmer producer organizations, and community governance โ for rural families who want to build their own future.
The next generation of changemakers is already in our communities โ they just need a platform, a mentor, and a mission. Through the Sarthi Fellowship, we invest in youth who want to lead from within.

RootsUp Foundation is a Section 8 Not-for-Profit registered in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. We are practitioners first โ our team has worked inside rural schools and community meetings long before we registered as an NGO.
We believe the most durable development happens when communities are the architects of their own progress โ and our role is to walk alongside them, not ahead of them.
Every programme begins with listening. We do not arrive with solutions โ we arrive with questions.
We draw on NEP 2020 and field research โ designing programmes grounded in both research and reality.
We share what works and what doesn't โ with our funders, partners, and the communities we serve.
We don't do short sprints. We build relationships that outlast any single programme cycle.
